Scholarship Opportunities

The application process consists of completing a form, attesting to the above requirements, and submitting documents including

  • A copy of your current high school transcript,

  • A copy of your college or university acceptance letter,

  • Your application essay with honor pledge, and

  • A recommendation letter from a teacher, priest, religious sister, youth group leader, employer, or coach.

 

All documents must be received before June 1st.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Relics Board of Directors will complete a review of all applications received and will select their top three candidates. At that point, the top three applications will be submitted to a neutral third party, a female Catholic physician, who will select the winner.

The winner will be notified via email in August.

Applicant must be

  • Female

  • A high school senior

  • Entering a full-time Catholic college or university program in the fall semester of the year of the awarded scholarship

  • Declared in a nursing or pre-med track major

  • Have a 3.0 or higher GPA

Requirements

The Saint Gianna Molla Scholarship for Young Women in Nursing or Pre-Med is offered annually to young women who are seniors in high school and who will be entering a Catholic College or University as a full-time student in either a nursing program or pre-med program.

 

The scholarship is for $1,000.00 and must be used for tuition, books, or related educational expenses. This award is a one-time scholarship per recipient. Funds will be sent to the financial aid office of the educational institution that the student will be attending.

The Pietro Molla Engineering Scholarship is offered annually to young men who are seniors in high school and who will be entering a Catholic college or university as a full-time student in an engineering program.

 

The scholarship is for $1,000.00 and must be used for tuition, books, or related educational expenses. This award is a one-time scholarship per recipient. Funds will be sent to the financial aid office of the educational institution that the student will be attending.
