After experiencing four miscarriages and the loss of her son to Potters Syndrome, Malissa felt called by the Holy Spirit to help the Sisterhood of the Traveling Relics of St. Gianna. A mother of two children on earth, Malissa now serves as the ministry’s accountant and helped establish the Sisterhood as a nonprofit.

Through the ministry, she experienced the powerful intercession of the prayers of the Sisterhood and St. Gianna, both during her journey of loss and grief, and later in welcoming her daughter into the world. She is honored to support its mission of bringing faith, hope, and comfort to families experiencing loss.
