Dr. Ana Gabriela was born and raised in Mexico within a Catholic family. At 15 years old, she started mission work. After becoming a medical doctor, she decided to work abroad and has since completed mission in Tanzania, Ukraine, and Mozambique. Mozambique has been her home for the past 10 years; there she specializes in serving individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Ana Gabriela's life has been personally touched by St. Gianna. She began researching St. Gianna when she learned of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Relics of St. Gianna. Following multiple pregnancy losses, Dr. Ana Gabriela has firsthand experience of the power of St. Gianna’s intercession. Despite being told she had very little chance of having children, she is now the mother of two!
